The year was 1918, WWI was in full force, with thousands of U.S troops overseas, resulting in numerous tragedies. And yet in the United States, an additional war was forming, the Spanish Flu, which would take between 40 – 100 million more lives. Historian Jim Gibbons will discuss the 1910’s and WWI, describing the ups, downs, twists, turns, fears and mourning of the time during the War and the pandemic.
