Event Details
Sixty years ago, Ringo Starr joined the Beatles, and they released their first recording, “Love Me Do.” To commemorate this, presenter John F. Lyons examines the impact of the Beatles on the Chicagoland area. Using music, video, and photographs from the 1960s, Lyons tells stories of the Beatles’ visits to Chicago, the unique connections between the Fab 4 and the Windy City and the diverse cast of characters who were engulfed by the whirlwind of Beatlemania.
