This program has been cancelled due to renovations at Naper Blvd. Library.
Help children build confidence in reading by reading aloud to a certified therapy dog in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. This animal-assisted reading program is presented in partnership with PAWSitive Therapy Troupe. Grades K-5
No registration is required but limited to 12 child readers. Readers should pick up a ticket at the Children's Services Desk starting at 5:00 p.m. for a time slot to read to a therapy dog.
The program will be held in the Children's Department.
