A founding member of the Impressionists, Claude Monet found inspiration in scenes of modern life and in the French landscape. His travels to England and Italy led to paintings featuring landmarks in London and Venice. Learn about Monet’s career and his favorite series subjects including train stations, grain stacks, poplars, and waterlilies. Visit the Art Institute of Chicago to see the Monet in Chicago exhibition through Jan. 18.
