In the 234 year history of the U.S. Presidency, holders of that office have promoted their own carefully crafted image to the nation, relying on ever-changing technology and media tools & tactics. Today's use of social media by Presidents is merely the most recent iteration of this trend. John Paris, College of DuPage associate professor of history, will trace this development by highlighting several significant moments in a lecture presentation followed by a question and answer session. *Registration required
