Are you looking to make your classroom library more inclusive and diverse? This workshop is for educators who teach preschoolers – 8th grade and will focus on diversity in youth literature, book lists with culturally relevant texts, and resources for locating diverse literature. Participants will have the opportunity to share ideas about utilizing diverse literature in the classroom and attendees will receive professional development credits for attending. This workshop is presented by Children’s Librarian Nicole Lawton, Teen Librarian Maisie Iven and Dr. Jennifer Shah, assistant professor of education at North Central College. *Registration required
