Bessie Coleman, portrayed by her great niece Gigi Coleman, shares her experiences leading her to become the first African American to earn her international pilot's license and the first black woman in the world to fly an airplane. With Coleman’s unwillingness to take “no” for an answer, she achieved many accomplishments in the U. S. in the field of aviation and led the way for African Americans to pursue their aviation dreams.
