NaNoWriMo Write-In

National Novel Writing Month is a free, annual event each November to encourage people to write a 50,000+ word first draft of their novel. Anyone age 13+ can register at nanowrimo.org to participate. Registration is required to receive the web conference link (due to the ongoing pandemic and NaNoWriMo policies for 2021, these events will be virtual; see naperwrimo.org/events to register and for the latest logistics).

What is a write-in? This is an informal gathering to help people focus on writing their novels in the company of their fellow NaNoWriMo participants. We'll have word wars (timed writing sprints with virtual prizes), Box of Doom challenges, and other motivational challenges to help people have fun while they write their novels. Experience the camaraderie as you achieve your targeted word count.
