Event Details

In honor of Juneteenth, join historian, musician, and radio personality, Clarence Goodman, as he explores the Black Experience in Chicago. From the shotgun shack to the White House, in all its richness, nuance and profundity, the African American presence is deep, rich, and proud. And that presence is in, out, up, down, and all-around Chicago. *Registration required

This program is in person and will not be livestreamed, but a recording will be available afterwards on the Library's YouTube channel for 4 weeks.
